Passage
- The passage we will be quizzing over is 1,2 Thessalonians, 1,2 Timothy, and Titus. (KJV)
- -Each team will be assured a minimum of 7 matches with the possibility of 18 matches
- -Friday evening and the first two quizzes on Saturday will be strictly preliminary round robin matches. These preliminary matches will seed teams for Saturday’s double elimination rounds.
- -AACS rules will be followed for this tournament (with a few exceptions—posted on the rules page).
- The tournament registration fee is $135 for early registrants (received on/before January 20th) and $155 for late registrants (received on/before January 31st). This can be sent by mail or paid at check-in.
- There will be two divisions to the CI 2019 – The Elite Division & Division II. All quizzers, up to 12th grade, are allowed to participate in the Elite Division. The 2nd Division tournament (running simultaneously) will be for less experienced Sr. High Quizzers, any Jr. High or Jr. Varsity teams, and even for more experienced elementary teams. (Coaches, please contact Pastor Jono if you have questions about distinctions between the divisions)
- ***New This year*** - One “alumni” team will be allowed to quiz in the round robin rounds (but excluded from the elimination tournament). An award will be given to the quiz team that ends the round robin tournament as the 1st seed.
- At Check-in, quizzers will be assigned personal numbers and nametags. These are for the quizmaster, scorekeepers, and statisticians. Personal stats will be kept throughout the tournament with awards given to the top ten quizzers of both divisions.
- For your convenience, a concession room is open in the kitchen area all evening on Friday night and on Saturday at no cost to tournament participants, families, or fans. Everything is free to you so please stay nourished, hydrated, and energized!
- Saturday Lunch will be through-the-line style. Lunch is free and is for everyone attending the tournament as a participant, or fan. No tickets are needed.
-Click HERE for information on the CI 2019 host hotel. We also have a few church members who have made their homes available on a limited basis. Please contact Pastor Jono if you are interested.
-Also, please be aware that some of the quizzes are live streamed online and some pictures will be posted on the tournament websites. By attending the tournament, you are agreeing to be shown on the tournament websites.
