Passage
The passage we will be quizzing over is Matthew 1-28. (KJV)
Tournament Format
-Each team will be assured 9-10 matches with the possibility of 18 matches
-Friday evening and the first two quizzes on Saturday will be strictly preliminary round robin matches. These preliminary matches will seed teams for Saturday’s double elimination rounds.
-AACS rules will be followed for this tournament (with a few exceptions—posted on the rules page).
General Tournament Information
-The tournament registration fee is $125 for early registrants (received before January 20th) and $150 for late registrants (received before January 31st). This can be sent by mail or paid at check-in.
-There will be two divisions to the CI 2015 – The Elite Division & Division II. All quizzers, up to 12th grade, are allowed to participate in the Elite Division. The 2nd Division tournament (running simultaneously) will be for less experienced Sr. High Quizzers, any Jr. High or Jr. Varsity teams, and even for more experienced elementary teams. (Coaches, please contact Pastor Jono if you have questions about distinctions between the divisions)
-At Check-in, quizzers will be assigned personal numbers and nametags. These are for the quizmaster, scorekeepers, and statisticians. Personal stats will be kept throughout the tournament with awards given to the top ten quizzers of both divisions.
-For your convenience, a concession room is open in the kitchen area all evening on Friday night and on Saturday at no cost to tournament participants, families, or fans. Everything is free to you so please stay nourished, hydrated, and energized!
-Saturday Lunch will be through-the-line style. Lunch is free and is for everyone attending the tournament as a participant, or fan. No tickets are needed.

- 9:00am Short group meeting (both divisions) & prayer in Auditorium
- 9:15 Preliminary rounds (Final 2 preliminary rounds for both divisions)
- 10:15 Elimination Rounds Begin
- 11:30 Lunch for Eliminated teams
- 12:00pm Lunch for Elite Division teams
- 12:30 Lunch for Division II teams
- 1:00 Short Challenge by Pastor Craig Scott in Auditorium
- 1:30-4:00 Final Elimination Rounds
- 4:30 Trophies and Top Ten Quizzer Recognitions
